The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), conducts the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) examination for Class 10th and class 12th students. Over the last few years, the exams have been conducted during the month of February and March. The board has released the Time Table for the academic session 2016-2017, according to which, the 2017 ICSE exams will begin from 27 February, 2017 and end on 31 March, 2017. The CISCE usually announces the ICSE 10th Board results during the month of May, probably in the second week. Last year, the result was announced on 6 May, 2016. Around 1,68,591 students appeared for ICSE examination last year. The overall pass percentage was 98.64%. The pass percentage for boys who appeared for ICSE 10th Board exam 2016 was 97.03% while for girls, it was 99.13%. It is expected that a similar trend will be followed this year also.
