The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), conducts the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) examination for Class 10th and class 12th students. Over the last few years, the exams have been conducted during the month of February and March. The board has released the Time Table for the academic session 2016-2017, according to which, the 2017 ICSE exams will begin from 27 February, 2017 and end on 31 March, 2017. The CISCE usually announces the ICSE 10th Board results during the month of May, probably in the second week. Last year, the result was announced on 6 May, 2016. Around 1,68,591 students appeared for ICSE examination last year. The overall pass percentage was 98.64%. The pass percentage for boys who appeared for ICSE 10th Board exam 2016 was 97.03% while for girls, it was 99.13%. It is expected that a similar trend will be followed this year also. Notifications 2017

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has already released the ICSE 10th board notification for the year 2017. CISCE will also make the ICSE admit card 2017 available online on its official website (www.cisce.org) 10 days before the exams begin on 29 February, 2017. Students can either download their hall tickets or get it from their respective schools.

Statistics 2017

The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations conducts the ICSE examination for Class 10th students. The ICSE 2015 pass percentage was recorded as 98.54%. The result report submitted after the declaration of the result stated that around 1,58,833 students applied for ICSE exam. It also revealed that with around 88,209 boys who appeared for the exam, the total number of boys who passed ICSE exam was 86,551. On the other hand, from about 70,624 girls who appeared for the exam, the total number of girls who passed ICSE exam was 69,884.

ICSE (Class 10) Time Table 2017

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has released the date-sheet for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ICSE) i.e. class 10th time-table for the academic year 2015 - 2017.

The ICSE exams 2017 will begin on 29 February, 2017 and go on till 31 March, 2017. This year, the first exam to take place will be for English language. Art Paper IV (Applied Art) will be the last exam. The time duration will vary according to the subject - either 2 or 3 hours. The Mathematics exam on 14th March, 2017 will last for 2.5 hours. An additional time period of 15 minutes will be given before each exam for reading the time table i.e. the question paper will be distributed at 10.45 am so that you can start writing the answers at
11 am.
